[WATCH] KIMMEL celebrates Twitter’s 6th birthday by having celebrities read nasty Tweets

Twitter turned six last week on March 21, and Jimmy Kimmel Live! decided to mark the occasion by having celebrities read some pretty nasty tweets about themselves. “One of the most interesting things about Twitter is it connects celebrities directly to their fans and vice versa,” Kimmel explained as he introduced the segment. “Your message goes right into their computer or their pocket, which can be good and it can also be bad. And we like to focus on the bad here at this show.” Celebrities such as Will Ferrell, Kristen Bell, Will Arnett, and Joel McHale were made to read some pretty offensive (although censored) and occasionally hilarious tweets about themselves, set to R.E.M.’s ‘Everybody Hurts.’
