With its Christmas release drawing near, a second theatrical trailer has just dropped for Quentin Tarantino’s highly anticipated slavery-vengeance-western Django Unchained. This new trailer has a similarly badass tone to the first, but it also features a bunch of new footage which gives us a better look at supporting characters played by Samuel L. Jackson, Kerry Washington and Jonah Hill (as a Klu Klux Klansman). Once again Leonard DiCaprio’s plantation owner villain looks delightfully evil here, and the trailer ends with him delivering a killer line — “adult supervision is required” — which playfully touches on the film’s R-rated and potentially controversial nature.
Django Unchained is out Christmas Day in the US, and January 24 in NZ. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz and Jamie Foxx alongside Gerald McRaney, Dennis Christopher, Laura Cayouette, M.C. Gainey, Don Johnson, Kerry Washington, RZA, Tom Wopat, James Remar, James Russo, Jonah Hill and Todd Allen. Watch the second theatrical trailer below (via The Playlist).
