[WATCH] TAME IMPALA: ‘Feels Like We Only Go Backwards’

Tame Impala have dropped a trippy new video for ‘Feels Like We Only Go Backwards’, the second from their terrific sophomore LP Lonerism. Directed by Joe Pelling and Becky Sloan, the clip is a hypnotic swirl of psychedelic oil paints which feels all the more like a late-Beatles release when paired with Kevin Parker’s Lennon-esque vocals.

The first video from Tame Impala’s highly anticipated sophomore LP Lonerism has arrived for the churning single ‘Elephant‘. Directed by Yoshi Sodeoka and featuring live footage shot by The Silentlights, the clip features the psychedelic Perth outfit performing through a kaleidoscopic lens, which is both predictable and effective in this case.


Earlier this month we got our first taste of Tame Impala’s forthcoming sophomore LP Lonerism, in the form of the swirling ‘Apocalypse Dreams‘, and today we have been treated to the album’s first single. ‘Elephant’ is a churning, comparatively tight jam, and it’s pretty damn great too.
