Julia Holter has released a new video for ‘Goddess Eyes II’, the latest from this year’s excellent LP Ekstasis. The strange clip finds the avant-pop artist looking in on a world of miniature figurines, and director Yelena Zhelezov explains that it was inspired by the Latin phrase “deus ex machina” and pays tribute to “Euripides and the literary spirit of the song.” The track will be released on a 12″ this month alongside ‘Goddess Eyes I‘ and a new song called ‘Betsy on the Roof’, and an expanded release of Ekstasis has just been released with a bonus disc of live songs.
