Sigur Rós continue their Mystery Film Experiment — in which the band gave “a dozen filmmakers the same modest budget and asked them to create videos for their new album Valtari. The filmmakers have complete creative freedom, the band completely unaware of what to expect.” — with a new video for ‘Dauðalogn’. Directed by Henry Jun Wah Lee, the nature-focussed clip was shot in a forest in the Japanese island of Yakushimi, and it comes across as a particularly beautiful and classy screensaver. A video for ‘Varðeldur’ — directed by Melika Bass, featuring a woman slowly contorting her body — was released previously, and you can also find that below.
