ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT to return with new season and movie!

Fans of Arrested Development, possibly the greatest television comedy ever, have been waiting five long years for a movie to wrap things up since the show prematurely went off-air. This past weekend however, at a Bluth family reunion panel held by The New Yorker, creator Mitchell Hurwitz revealed that the show will return for a “limited-run series into the movie… We’re basically hoping to do 9 or 10 episodes, with almost one character per episode.” (via NewYorkTimes). While no studio is officially attached yet, this is huge news for fans and I for one haven’t been this excited since Futurama came back from the dead.

The news was confirmed on Twitter today by Arrested Development stars Will Arnett and Jason Bateman.

Time to celebrate with a chicken dance!
