DIRTY PROJECTORS will return to New Zealand in January

Brooklyn avant-rock outfit Dirty Projectors are heading to New Zealand for two dates in January in support of their excellent LP Swing Lo Magellan. The Dave Longstreth-fronted group have had a busy year — including the release of their short film Hi Custodian, touring America, and let’s not forget a new EP on the way — and I’m pleasantly surprised by this exciting announcement. Dirty Projectors were previously here in 2010 and I regrettably missed that gig so I’m eagerly anticipating seeing their unique live show this time around, which promises to be something special indeed.

Check out the dates and ticketing details below:

Wednesday 23 January 2013 – King’s Arms, Auckland

Thursday 24 January 2013 – San Francisco Bath House, Wellington

Ticket are available now from Under the Radar.
