[LISTEN] ATOMS FOR PEACE: ‘Default’

Atoms For Peace — the electro-side-project of Thom Yorke which includes Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich and RHCP bassist Flea — surprised us with a new single and announcement earlier today. ‘Default’ is an anxious, blippy number which is reminiscent of Yorke’s solo LP The Eraser, and it comes with an announcement via the group’s website that the group’s long-awaited debut album will be out next year. A 12″ vinyl version of ‘Default’ (artwork above) will be released on September 10, featuring the b-side ‘Other Side (Stuck Together Remix)’, which surfaced last month and can also be found below.
