[WATCH] AESOP ROCK: ‘ZZZ Top’

Aesop Rock has dropped a kung fu video for ‘ZZZ Top’, the second single from his long-awaited new LP Skelethon. Compared to the relatively sedate clip for ‘Zero Dark Thirty‘, the Pete Lee-directed video for ‘ZZZ Top’ is non-stop action. It stars Chinese martial arts legend Hao Zhihua (credited here as Patty Li), who fights off a group of thugs, scored by Aesop’s signature mix of cinematic beats, disjointed flow and nicotine-scarred voice.
