[WATCH] Eye-popping red-band trailer for RZA’s THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS

Wu-Tang mastermind and kung-fu scholar RZA has finally dropped the first trailer for his long-gestating directorial debut The Man with the Iron Fists. Presented by his pal Quentin Tarantino, and co-written by Eli Roth, the film stars RZA – alongside a stellar cast which includes Russell Crowe (seemingly have a ball as the villain), Jamie Chung, Pam Grier, Cung Le and Lucy Liu—in an epic martial arts tale of warriors, assassins and a lone outsider hero in nineteenth-century China who must unite to destroy the clan traitor who would destroy them all. The Man with the Iron Fists looks every bit as outrageously fun and gloriously excessive as you might expect in this violent red-band trailer, and the soundtrack should be equally promising with the likes of The Black Keys, Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, Wu-Tang Clan and RZA himself contributing new tracks.

The Man with the Iron Fists hits the US on November 2 and NZ cinemas on November 15. Check out the red-band trailer and poster below (via The Playlist).
