[LISTEN] PEAKING LIGHTS: ‘Lucifer’

Married Wisconsin dub duo Peaking Lights have just released their third LP Lucifer, following last year’s breakout album 936. Indra Dunis and Aaron Coyes continue to mix psychedelia, krautrock, electronica, reggae and dreampop to dazzling effect here, hypnotising us with their trademark cycling bass, pulsing keyboards, and reverberating vocals. Lucifer is an album made up of dense, atmospheric and often gorgeous journeys which can sound deceptively simple on first listen, and I’m looking forward to exploring it in more depth.
