[LISTEN] DAVID BYRNE & ST. VINCENT: ‘Who’

It was revealed today that the highly anticipated collaboration between David Byrne and St. Vincent, Love This Giant, will finally arrive on September 11 (that’s the creepy cover art above). The album, which has been in the works for two and a half years, features ten collaborative tracks and two written by each musician individually, with appearances from The Dap-Kings, Antibalas and producer John Congleton. The first single, ‘Who’, was released today, and it’s a terrifically catchy track which showcases the kind of “idiosyncratic horn arrangements” the duo has promised. Byrne and Annie Clark also announced a North American tour for later this year, and I seriously hope they eventually extend it to an international tour which includes New Zealand.

Listen to ‘Who’ below, or download it via the widget, plus check out the album tracklist (via P4K).
