GRIZZLY BEAR announce NZ dates & new album + Listen to ‘Sleeping Ute’

Grizzly Bear announced via their official website today that their still-untitled follow-up to 2009’s brilliant Veckatimest will be released on September 18. They also posted a new track, ‘Sleeping Ute’, and announced a world tour which includes two New Zealand dates this November, marking their first visit to our shores. There is no official press release yet, but you can find the dates and venues below. ‘Sleeping Ute’ is an excellent, explosive new track from the Brooklyn outfit, once again challenging expectations and featuring wonderful guitar work from Daniel Rossen. I can’t wait for the new album, and incidentally, the Auckland date is just a couple of days before my birthday in case anyone is feeling generous?
