[WATCH] ST. VINCENT on CONAN: ‘Cheerleader’

St. Vincent stopped by Conan tonight to perform a cut from her superb 2011 album Strange Mercy. She performed a radiant rendition of ‘Cheerleader’, and rather humourously (if you got the reference) started off her performance with a nod to Elvis Costello’s infamous 1977 SNL appearance, playing the intro to ‘Radio, Radio’ before apologetically stating, “I’m sorry ladies and gentlemen, there’s no reason to play that song.” Add this to the already long list of reasons why I love Annie Clark!

Watch St. Vincent perform ‘Cheerleader’ below (via The Audio Perv).
